Creating labels
Creating a compliant chemical label requires a lot of expertise in legal and chemical matters and in technology. The following questions often arise:

Are other languages supported? Yes, => available languages. A maximum of 9 languages in any combinationis can be grouped on a label. However, it depends on the dimensions of the label.

Printing labels
The expert grades the substance or the preparation and the data are recorded in SAFIN. But how does it become a label?

How are the data converted into a label? SAFIN creates a new EU label from the existing raw data using your layout and the selected languages.
What happens with the data in SAFIN? SAFIN provides read-only access to your data. This allows authenticated users to create labels, but your data remain unchanged.
What are the available languages? => available languages
How many languages fit on a label? Maximum 9 languages, depending on the dimensions of the label. The languages can be combined as desired.
Can I use my own logos and templates? Yes, any logos and templates can be used.
Which format is used? SAFIN creates the files in Microsoft Word format.
Are thermal transfer printers supported? Yes. All printers with Microsoft Windows printer drivers.

The responsibility is clearly divided: the expert assesses the substances / preparations with his knowledge, his experience and our software tools. He is the person with direct write access to the data in SAFIN, other users may use the data in read-only mode.

Creating Safety Data Sheets:

How can I translate my SDS ? SAFIN contains thousands of translated standard phrases. Once you have completed your SDS in your language you are just one mouse-click away from the translated SDS.
You also have the possibility to add your own phrases and translations.
What is the format of the document? SAFIN creates files in the Microsoft Word format.
You can convert them easily to PDF files.

Distributing SDS:
The expert has completed the Safety Data Sheet and the translations. How do the documents get to the customer? SAFIN offers two possibilities:

Documents in SAFIN SAFIN provides read-only access to your data. This allows authenticated users to retrieve your SDB, but your data remains unchanged.
Documents saved locally The user downloads all SDSs from SAFIN and saves them on the local computer or network. The user can choose his own way to distribute SDSs to his customers.
