Chemicals legislation in Switzerland is considered to be largely harmonized with EU regulations. However, the relevant laws and regulations are developed and applied autonomously. This is also the case with the UFI (Unique Formula Identifier). Swiss regulations are similar to those in the EU, but not completely identical.
