Article 45 and Annex VIII of the EU CLP Regulation set out extensive reporting requirements for chemical mixtures that are classified as posing health or physical hazards. The obligation to submit PCN notifications, also known as harmonised product notifications, lies in all cases with operators in the EU. However, Swiss enterprises are also affected. We explain how and why.
